At Greener Lives, our philosophy is to design your space, the place that is right for you. We do not have "a style" or "a look". What we have is a commitment to creating spaces that fulfill your needs and reflect your style. We design beautiful, functional, stylish homes that create healthier living spaces for you and your family and that preserve the environment through energy efficiency, water conservation, the use of sustainable materials and other green elements.
At Greener Lives, we believe in listening to your priorities and needs, so that we can transform your wishes into spaces where scale, color, green features and more come together to create a truly livable, healthy place. Defining Spaces with Lines and Shapes -
Using furniture with lines that mirror each other can define an intimate space by creating a sense of enclosure. The tops of these two chairs arch towards each other to creat a circular curve. The front edge of the round rug on the floor completes the cirlce to enclose the area and create a space for two.
Creating Comfortable Living Spaces -
Comfortable spaces don't have to be dowdy. This eclectic combination of Asian and contemporary design creates a stylish and comfortable great room, complete with a reclining sofa and an entertainment center.
Combining Elements from Different Styles -
One way to create a successful eclectic design is to combine elements from two styles that use similar lines and patterns. In this eclectic design, traditional Asian architectural details and accents are combined with contemporary dining chairs that have curved backs and legs reminiscent of Asian furniture.
Details make the Design -
In this living room, leather upholstery and rustic wood furniture provide the foundations for the Western look, but the details - nail heads on the upholstery, Native American patterns on the pillows, Western art and even a saddle displayed as a sculpture - are what truly define the room's style.

Expanding a Style with Eclecticism -
This Spanish-style dining room adds a formal and upscale note to a Western-style home. The Spanish style works well with the Western style because of the crossover of Mexican influences in the Western United States.
Creating Intimate Spaces -
Adding a table for two in the corner of a bedroom or a living room creates a space for an intimate breakfast or a shared game. Such spaces also capture the warmth that transforms a house into a home.
Designing a Sustainable Bathroom -
In the 21st century, remodeling dated bathrooms can involve much more than creating a contemporary style. This small, 1980s master bathroom was rehabbed with a sustainable design to save energy, conserve water and improve the room's indoor air quality.
Adding Aging-in-Place Features -
For homeowners who are 50 or older, using aging-in-place features in a bathroom rehab just makes sense. Here grab bars, single-lever fixtures, a shower seat and a textured shower floor create a safe, user-friendly space. If grab bars aren't needed immediately, adding grab bar supports behind the wall means that the tile won't have to be torn out later to install secure grab bars.
Combining Beauty and Functionality -
Interior design can, and should be, both functional and beautiful. The layers of rock patterns in this stone sink, quartz countertop and porcelain floor bring nature indoors. The Water-Sense certified faucet reduces water consumption, and its single-lever fixture is easy to operate.
Working with Smaller Spaces -
Smaller spaces, like the living room in this apartment model, need smaller scale furniture to open up the rooms and to create livable spaces.
Creating a Stylish Dining Area -
Today's dining areas have to serve double duty for casual breakfasts and evening dining. Using a stylish gathering table creates a space that can be dressed up or down as needed.
Expanding a Home's Living Space -
Rather than doing a major remodel on an existing home, extending the home outdoors will expand the living space. Replacing a window with French doors transforms this new patio into a second dining room and a great space for entertaining. With a new fan above the patio and a fire bowl in the yard, this outdoor space is usable almost year round.
